long_boardIf you ever heard the term longboarding and found yourself confused, then listen up because today I’m going to discuss a bit of historical trivia about the origination of the longboard. Fun facts about this surfing-inspired sport are about to take you for the ride of your life.

complete-longboardIf you’ve never purchased a longboard before, it can be a daunting undertaking. From the wheels and bearing to the deck and trucks, the list of variables to consider is extensive. And for those with little experience on a longboard, the hardness of the wheels and tightness of the trucks are undoubtedly foreign concepts.

It doesn’t make sense then to take to the time to customize every aspect of your board when you don’t even know how to discern between different parts. For beginners, the best option is usually to buy a complete longboard. These models come ready-to-ride, so you don’t have to spend hours researching which components you want. Once you have some riding experience under your belt and get a better grasp of your style, you can make upgrades and invest in parts that are catered to your needs.
