sector 9 mainland longboard review
The sector 9 mainland is another great carving and cruising board but I wouldn’t recommend it for bombing hills due to it being super springy. The sector 9 mainland longboard has a slight kicktail for added maneuverability if you learn how to use but due to the length of the board it can be hard to use. The mainland is also made with fiberglass to make it durable and flexy. I recommend the mainland to anyone looking for a good carver or cruiser.
The sector 9 mainland comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend paying the few extra dollars to get the sidewinders and some sector 9 wheels that are about 70mm or larger, the san clemente’s are nice if you’re just starting out but in the long run the sidewinders and the sector 9 wheels are far, far, superior. The mainland also comes with abec 5 bearings but if you’re going to toss in the extra money for wheels and trucks you might as well toss in a few more for the reds because though the abec 5’s are fine if you want the full effect of this board to take place you have to have really good bearings.
