the sector 9 coconut longboard is great for cruising, I’ve never seen it used for much else but for whatever you would find it suitable for, go for it. The coconut longboard has a very short wheelbase meaning sharp precise turns, can literally turn on a dime. The coconut is also made of bamboo which is not only great for the environment but is also just as effective as using it’s maple counterpart and grows up to 4 feet a week!

The coconut comes with san clemente trucks and wheels however I suggest selecting some of our more reliable trucks and wheels from our huge selection that we have to offer. For trucks I  recommend sidewinders, chargers or bombers, these are my personal recommendation and have our highest rating and are our most part but if something else tickles your fancy we don’t carry anything that’s not worth buying. As for wheels I suggest sector 9′s, orangutangs, or zig zags anything over 70mm really as these will help you go right over rocks and  rough terrain such as small patches of grass, rough gravel, etc. For bearings I highly suggest buying reds they’re only 10$ extra but 20x better even if you don’t end up buying anything else please buy these they truly do make all the difference when riding.

The sector 9 greenroom longboard is perfect for the commute to work or thrashing the park. The greenroom comes with a kicktail for added support and stability or even for some fancy tricks (if you dare). Also the greenroom has a long wheelbase for a smooth, relaxed, almost surfy feel. I recommend the greenroom looking for a superb cruising/carving board.

The greenroom comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend choosing from some our premium trucks and wheels that we have to offer. For trucks I highly recommend buying sidewinders for this board, these trucks help complete the smooth, relaxed feel that this board gives, it’s smooth yet responsive turning almost feels like riding a wave. As for wheels I suggest getting some sector 9 wheels in a 70mm or higher, there’s no rocks that float on water right? well, with these wheels you won’t have to worry about rocks on land any more than you would in the water. Also the green room comes with abec 5 bearings I highly suggest changing these out with some reds, they’re only an extra 10$ but they’re about 20x better in fact I insist you get these even if you don’t buy the trucks or wheels.

The sector 9 mainland longboard is perfect for carving and cruising especially carving from it’s flexibility from the fiberglass in the wood. the mainland also comes with a decent size kicktail for added stability and maneuverability it’s great for support on long rides and can be useful for some of the more technical techniques on a longboard. The mainland also has a long wheelbase which gives it a smooth, relaxed, surfy feel. I recommend the mainland to anyone looking for a good board.

For trucks I recommend getting gullwing sidewinders these are great for boards like these because sidewinders are responsive just like a board would be on the waves. For wheels I suggest some sector 9 wheels anything above a 70mm will do. For bearings although the mainland comes with abec 5′s I suggest buying the bones reds they’re perfect for anyone and they’re only an extra 7 bucks!

The sector 9 pathfinder longboard is a great board for cruising and carving due to it’s flexy fiberglass and wood components. The sector 9 pathfinder comes with an extremely useful kicktail for added stability and maneuverability. The pathfinder also has a relatively small wheelbase for sharp and precise turns whether you’re tearing the skate park or  heading off to work this board is perfect in terms of maneuverability.

The pathfinder comes with san lcemente trucks nad wheels but if you can afford I HIGHLY recommend getting some of our more reliable trucks and wheels. For trucks I recommend sidewinders these are hands down the best carving/cruising trucks and wheels on the market. For wheels I suggest sector 9′s anything in a 70mm or higher really. The pathfinder also comes iwth abec 5 bearings but if you can spend the extra 7$ on the bearings it will help you tremendously as reds are the best bearings you can buy unless you can afford a set of sector 9 ceramics.

The sector 9 deserts longboard is the perfect longboard for downhill riding and the ultimate cruiser. The sector 9 deserts longboard comes complete with wheel cutouts to help reduce wheelbite and a kick tail for added stability and comfort unfortunately it doesn’t really affect maneuverability much like most kicktails simply because the board is too big to be lifted by the kicktail in a substantial way such as turning. I recommend  the sector 9 deserts longboard to anyone looking for a good downhill board or cruiser.

The sector 9 deserts comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I really suggest getting some our premium trucks and wheels with this board so you can rip down those hills or through town. For trucks I suggest chargers or bombers these trucks are quite large and are not only sturdy but come with gullwings special made bushings for responsiveness when turning but when standing still it’s just like standing on a moving piece of wood. For wheels i suggest getting some sector 9 wheels in a 70mm or bigger these will help fling rocks out of the way when bombings hills or keep you from stopping up on rocks when you’re cruising. The deserts also comes with abec 5 bearings but I highly suggest getting some reds as they’re the best bearings you can get for only a extra 7$ and are 20x better then the standard abec 5′s that come with the deserts.

The sector 9 whistler longboard is the perfect board for extremely high speeds and is the ultimate cruiser. The whistlers comes with wheel cutouts to help prevent wheelbite on those hard turns. The whistler also has a decent sized kicktail for extra support to help you turn and for the comfot doesn’t really have much use in maneuverability due to it’s size. I recommend the whistler to anyone that’s looking for an excellent cruiser or downhill board.

The whistler comes with  san clemente trucks and wheels but if you get this board I highly suggest getting some of our better trucks and wheels because this board can’t reach it’s full potential without premium equipment. For trucks I highly suggest chargers or bombers. For wheels I suggest getting some sector 9′s or if you have the money orangutangs or gumballs anything in a 70mm or higher. The whistler also comes with abec 5 bearings but I highly suggest getting some reds because not only are they just a few bucks extra but they are 20x better then the standard abec 5′s.

The sector 9 reflections longboard is the ultimate board for carving, downhill, slalom, and just good ol’ cruising. The sector 9 the sector 9 reflections has a really short wheelbase which makes turns super tight and precise, this is great for super sharp carving on those pockets at the park or making sure you make it through every cone on a slalom run or even just weaving through traffic when traffic is backed up. The reflections also comes with a nice kicktail for added maneuverability and control.

For trucks I highly recommend getting the sidewinders with this board, this board is not complete without these trucks. For wheels I recommend getting some sector 9 wheels  or anything really in a 70mm or higher. The reflections also comes with abec 5 bearings but I suggest getting reds for this board for any occasion simply because reds will out run and out last the abec 5′s easy for just a few extra bucks.

The sector 9 drainer longboard is perfect for ditch slashing, carving,  cruising, you name it as far as longboarding goes this board can pretty much do it. The drainer comes with a tail for added maneuverability and control, the tail is carved out all cool like for looks, there’s no purpose for it to look like that really. The drainer also comes with a nice base that will keep you stable down hills and make you feel comfortable when carving at the park. The drainer is perfect for anyone looking for a well-rounded longboard.

The sector 9 drainer comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I suggest customizing your board with some of our more reliable trucks and wheels. For trucks I suggest bombers and chargers for slalom, downhill, can carve, can cruise, but if you want the ultimate carving and cruising experience I suggest the sindewinders (please don’t use the sidewinders for downhill or slalom because it will give you major speed wobble as these trucks are very responsive. For wheels I suggest sector 9′s, anything 70mm or bigger will suffice. THe drainer also comes with abec 5 beaings if you want the best results from this board I HIGHLY recommend getting reds whether you’re just starting or extremely skilled pushin’ wood these bearings are some of the most reliable on the market and if you want some bearings that will last you a lifetime I recommend the sector 9 ceramics.

The sector 9 seedling longboard is great for downhill slalom, carving, or cruising around town. The sector 9 seedling has a “medium wheelbase” it’s not too long to make turns super long but not too short to make you shoot off a complete 90 degrees, it’s perfect for weaving through those cones down hills. The seedling is perfect for anyone looking for a good all around board.

The seedling comes with san clemente trucks and wheels these are fine for beginners but I highly suggest customizing your board with some our premium trucks and wheels. For trucks I suggest gettting chargers or bombers if you’re going to be doing downhill or slalom, these are also great for cruising, but if you want the ultimate cruising and carving experience I suggest getting the sidewinders (please don’t buy sidewinders for downhill they’re extremely responsive and will cause extreme speed wobble). For wheels I suggest getting sector 9′s or any wheel you feel in about a 70mm or higher. The seedling also comes with abec 5 bearings once again these are great for beginners but skilled riders will find these to be in bad taste so I suggest getting some reds bearings they’re the best bearings you can buy for the price.

The sector 9 oracle longboard is a great board for carving and cruising and even downhill. The oracle comes with wheel cutouts to help prevent wheelbite from turning to hard in the pockets at the park. The oracle also has a long wheelbase for long smooth turns and the most stable ride you will feel. I recommend the oracle to anyone looking for a good cruiser/carver.
