Sector 9 oracle longboard review
The sector 9 oracle longboard is a great board for carving and cruising and even downhill. The oracle comes with wheel cutouts to help prevent wheelbite from turning to hard in the pockets at the park. The oracle also has a long wheelbase for long smooth turns and the most stable ride you will feel. I recommend the oracle to anyone looking for a good cruiser/carver.
The sector 9 oracle comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly suggest setting up your own board with our quality trucks wheels and bearings. For trucks I recommend gullwing chargers if you might be doing hills as well but if you’re going to just carve and cruise then I suggest our sidewinders. For wheels I suggest sector 9 wheels in about a 70mm or higher. The oracle also comes with abec 5 bearings which are great for beginners but as you progress or perhaps you’re already very talented, suggest buying some reds because I think they’re only 7-8$ extra anyways and they really do make all the difference in the world.
sector 9 california pintail longboard review
The sector 9 California pintail longboard is a great board for carving, cruising and downhill. The california pintail has wheel cutouts that help prevent wheelbite and we all no that no matter what you’re doing, wheelbite sucks. The california also has a super long wheelbase for nice long smooth turns, the ultimate for any cruiser or carver looking for that surfy feel, the long wheelbase also makes the board super stable for downhill riding.
The sector 9 california comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but there are much better options for a few extra dollars. For trucks I recommend chargers and bombers for bombing hills, or sidewinders for cruising and carving. For wheels I recommend getting sector 9 wheels anything in a 70mm+ or if you have the extra money orangutangs, zig zags, gumballs, etc. The california pintail also comes with abec 5 bearings, these are nice for beginners but skilled riders would probably find these to be useless, for bearings I suggest they’re the best bearings for the price and are hard to beat until about the 30$+ sector 9 ceramics are an example and they will last you a lifetime
sector 9 BHNC longboard review
The sector 9 BHNC longboard is perfect those looking for a good cruiser, carver, or an extreme downhill board. The BHNC comes with wheel cutouts that when going down hills or carving at the park are crucial to make you don’t biff it if you turn too hard. The BHNC pintail design is designed to help you go faster due to aerodynamics. I recommend the BHNC to anyone looking for a board that can handle the steeper terrain or if you want to get into some high speed carving.
The sector 9 BHNC comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly suggest getting some bombers or chargers for this unless you’re planning to carve then I would highly suggest buying some sidewinders. For wheels I suggest getting some sector 9 wheels in a 70-80mm+ these are perfect for achieving high speeds and making sure you don’t go flying off because of a small rock laying in your path. The BHNC also comes with abec 5 bearings those these are fine for beginners if you want to get the full experience of riding downhills these aren’t going to do it (unfortunately) I suggest getting some reds it’s just a few dollars extra and they’re a heap better.
sector 9 montage mini longboard review
The sector 9 montage mini longboard is a great little board for light carving, cruising, and mini ramps. The montage comes with a nice kicktail for not only a helping hand on the ramps but to help you maneuver through the busy city streets. The montage also has a really short wheelbase for tight precise turns. the montage size is also extremely beneficial because you can store it in lockers and even in your backpack! or maybe you’re not one these young hipsters and it stows easily away in a cupboard or something, it’s really compact and can go just about anywhere. I recommend the montage to anyone looking for a great board for cruising or mini ramps.
The montage comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I would highly suggest buying some chargers, bombers or independents for this board thry can take the punishment of the coping grinding against and can get you safely across town without any worries. As for wheels I suggest buying some sector 9 wheels in a 60-70mm these are just the perfect size they won’t cause wheelbite and you can get over those annoying little cracks. As we all know no board is complete without bearings the board comes with abec 5 bearings thoseĀ these are just fine I highly suggest buying some reds or sector 9 ceramics if you have the moeny.
sector 9 reno mini longboard
the sector 9 reno mini longboard is a great board for cruising and mini ramp sessions. The reno comes with a super fat tail for added stability and maneuverability through towns and makes mini ramps a whole load easier. the reno’s size is also extremely useful for stowing away in lockers, backpacks, bushes, etc. I recommend the reno to anyone looking for a good cruising/mini ramp board.
The reno comes with san clemente trucks and wheels as well and those these are find I would like to suggest some of our other options. For trucks I would suggest getting some chargers, bombers, or independents for these are perfect for ramps and cruising. For wheels I suggest sector 9′s in a 60-70 mm those are just the right size for this particular board, not to big not to small. of course the reno also comes with abec 5 bearings these are god to start out with but it would be a much better bet just to spend the few extra dollars on the reds, they’re the best bearings for the price.
