The sector 9 city crusher tokyo longboard
The sector 9 city crusher tokyo longboard is great for cruising, it’s not really designed for much else. the city crusher is a small board that was built to use huge wheels, for going over cracks, manholes, potholes, etc. the city crusher also has a short wheelbase which means spot on turning and no worries about having a turn be too short. I recommend the city cursher to anyone who needs a good board for commuting.
The sector 9 city crusher comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend paying the few extra dollars to get the sidewinders and some sector 9 wheels that are about 80mm or larger, the san clemente’s are nice if you’re just starting out but in the long run the sidewinders and the sector 9 wheels are far, far, better, you just have to trust me. The city crusher also comes with abec 5 bearings but if you might as well pay the extra money for wheels and trucks you might as well toss in a few more for the reds because though the abec 5′s are just fine the reds are much much better.
sector 9 coconut longboard review
The Sector 9 coconut longboard is an extremely great board for cruising, carving, slalom, and downhill, It’s an extremely well rounded board. The coconut is extremely lightweight which is really nice if you have to carry this though town or to work. The coconut is also has a small wheelbase which makes it extremely maneuverable it actually turns so sharp that if you got the sidewinders you would probably turn 90 degrees. I recommend the coconut to absolutely anyone.
The sector 9 greenroom comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend paying the few extra dollars to get some chargers or bombers and some sector 9 wheels that are about 70mm or larger, the san clemente’s are nice if you’re just starting out but in the long run the chargers/bombers are perfect because if you got something too responsive like the sidewinders you would probably end up flying off the board from turning too sharp! The greenroom also comes with abec 5 bearings but if you’re going to toss in the extra money for wheels and trucks you might as well toss in a few more for the reds because though the abec 5′s are fine if you want the full effect of this board to take place you have to have really good bearings.
What about the sector 9 ghost tree longboard???
Ok so not sure about the new sector 9 ghost tree longboard. Well check it out… The ghost tree is the newest edition in shape to the sector 9 bamboo series. It is a little longer than the shipsterns and a little shorter than the teahupoo longboard. However it has an extended wheelbase as the trucks are mounted close to the front and also very far to the back making it a very smooth ride. The ghost tree also sports a slight camber which is the first board in the bamboo line up that has ever had this feature. The camber allows for a little more flex when pushing in and out of turns. It makes for a great ride and is a very smooth. The ghost tree is a great all around board and is recommended to any beginner as it is very stable and not too long or too short.
The sector 9 ghost tree longboard
should be set up with some gullwing charger trucks which really get the most out of the shape and design of the board creating an amazing ride that is fast and smooth. I would set it up with a nice 70mm wheel like the sector 9 nine ball whees for some good speed. The bearing really depends on what you want to do as a rider. If you want speed and are going to bomb some hills you might want a better bearing like some bones swiss which are a little more spendy but are well worth the money. If you are just looking to cruise and want it to be a smooth ride rush abec 5 bearings will work great!
Sector 9 Ours Bamboo Longboard

The sector 9 bamboo longboard line is very popular. In fact bamboo longboards are the growing trend along with carbon fiber boards at this time. Bamboo is a great product and makes a great skate. The sector 9 ours longboard is made from 100% bamboo wood. It has a hybrid style shape to it which is similar to an old school skateboard with some added length for more speed and better stability making it a very easy to ride longboard. Most bamboo longboards seem to have a good amount of flex however this board was not made with flex in mind. It was molded into a stiffer pattern which will allow you to take the board into skate parks, swimming pools, or even the streets. The longer length of this board also makes it a great longboard. One of the best things about the ours bamboo longboard is that it sports the crafty kicktail which allows you to manuever the board so much better as you can use the tail to navigate and lif t the nose of the board up to get around tight corners are people in the way.
Depending on your riding style there are several options for trucks to set up on this board. If you are looking to cruise the board and want some smooth fast riding get some gullwing chargers which will allow for smooth turns and give you more lift off the ground to allow for a larger wheel. Remember large wheels mean more speed and a smoother ride. If you want to keep it more hybrid and also hit the skate parks you might want a gullwing mission truck which is a standard skate truck but also allows for smooth turns you just have to put a smaller sized wheel around 64mm or smaller to avoid wheel bite but it will still be a smooth ride. If you are a beginner and are just looking to cruise around and are also on a budget set it up with some san clemente trucks as they are easy on the wallet and will get the job done.
Sector 9 greenroom longboard review
The sector 9 greenroom longboard is a great board for slalom minor downhill, carving, and cruising. The green room can pretty much be used for anything except hardcore downhilling and is very customizable which gives you a lot of choices. The green room also has a kicktail for added maneuverability. The green room is also made partly of fiberglass which is very flexible and durable so you shouldn’t have to buy a board for a quite a while after buying this. I recommend the greenroom to anyone.
The sector 9 greenroom comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend paying the few extra dollars to get the sidewinders and some sector 9 wheels that are about 70mm or larger, the san clemente’s are nice if you’re just starting out but in the long run the sidewinders and the sector 9 wheels are far, far, better, you just have to trust me. sector 9 mainland longboard review
The sector 9 mainland is another great carving and cruising board but I wouldn’t recommend it for bombing hills due to it being super springy. The sector 9 mainland longboard has a slight kicktail for added maneuverability if you learn how to use but due to the length of the board it can be hard to use. The mainland is also made with fiberglass to make it durable and flexy. I recommend the mainland to anyone looking for a good carver or cruiser.
The sector 9 mainland comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend paying the few extra dollars to get the sidewinders and some sector 9 wheels that are about 70mm or larger, the san clemente’s are nice if you’re just starting out but in the long run the sidewinders and the sector 9 wheels are far, far, superior. sector 9 pathfinder longboard
The sect0r 9 pathfinder longboard is a great carving and cruising board but would not be good for downhill and ramps at all, This board is probably one of the best you can find for cruising and carving but I don’t recommend it for much else. The pathfinder is a super flexy board and has fiberglass in it as well which makes it flexible and durable. The pathfinder also has a kicktail for added stability and maneuverability. I recommend the pathfinder to absolutely any looking to carve or get around town.
The sector 9 pathfinder comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend paying the few extra dollars to get the sidewinders and some sector 9 wheels that are about 70mm or larger, the san clemente’s are nice if you’re just starting out but the sidewinders and the sector 9 wheels are far, far, better, you just have to trust me. The pathfinder also comes with abec 5 bearings but if you’re going to get new wheels and trucks you might as well toss in a few more for the reds because though the abec 5′s are fine no board is complete without a good set of bearings
Sector 9 deserts longboard review
The sector 9 deserts is a great board for carving and cruising but it’s not really suited for anything else. The deserts actually has a completely new shape and is specially designed to flex right and keep the board moving through momentum, though this won’t keep you going forever it will take a lot less energy to push this guy up and down the streets, not to mention it’ll have you soaring through the pockets at the park. The deserts longboard also has wheel cut outs to help reduce wheelbite. I recommend the deserts to any beginner, absolutely anyone will enjoy this new shape, sector 9 did a good job on this one.
The sector 9 deserts comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend paying the few extra dollars to upgrade to the sidewinders and some sector 9 wheels that are about 70mm or larger, the san clemente’s are nice if you’re just starting out but in the long run the sidewinders and the sector 9 wheels are far, far, better, you just have to trust me. The deserts also comes with abec 5 bearings but if you’re going to put in the extra money for wheels and trucks you might want to shoot for getting some reds as well though the abec 5′s are fine if you want the full effect of this board to take place you have to have really good bearings.
