sector 9 dawn patrol review
The sector nine dawn patrol longboard is a great carving and or cruising board though I don’t think I would recommend it for downhill, because once you got to speed since the turning is so sensitive on the dawn patrol you would get extreme speed wobble, which would result in…I’m sure you know. The Dawn patrol has a short wheelbase for super tight turning capabilities. The dawn patrol also has a small kicktail and superb concave for excellent control of your board. I recommend the dawn patrol to any cruiser or carver, beginner or advanced.
The dawn patrol comes with stock san clemente trucks, wheels, and bearings. I highly recommend getting the gullwing sidewinders for trucks, if you get this board you must get these trucks. IF you’re going to get wheels I recommend a 70+ mm (sector 9′s, abec11 gumballs, orangutangs, etc.). If you’re going to get new bearings i recommend reds or sector nine ceramics.
sector 9 scarab longboard review
The Sector nine Scarab longboard is an excellent board for downhill, sliding, or just cruising around town. The scarab comes with superb concave as well which gives you great control at high speeds. The scarab has a long wheelbase as compared to a lot of our pintails. I recommend the scarab to anyone as a downhill board, sliding board, or a cruiser.
The scarab of course comes with our stock wheels, trucks, and bearings. I highly recommend paying just a little extra for the better equipment. If you’re going to get new trucks for this board I recommend getting gullwing chargers, bombers or if you’re looking to carve and cruise I would recommend gullwing sidewinders. If you’re going to get new Wheels I recommend getting anything in a 70+mm (sector 9′s, orangutangs, abec 11 gumballs, etc.). If you’re looking to buy bearings I recommend reds or if you want to pay a little extra, the sector 9 ceramics (which are extremely better than the reds).
