Sector nine Scarab longboard review

The Sector nine Scarab longboard is a great board whether you’re looking to push around town or carve up your local park. The Scarab is a super long board with a nice wide wheelbase for nice smooth turns and to make youre your board doesn’t slip out from under you. The Scarab just like all of our other sector 9 longboards comes with some great non-slip griptape to make sure you’re securely placed on your board.

The Sector Nine Scarab longboard comes with San Clemente trucks but I recommend sidewinders for the full turning capability. You can’t go around with old stock wheels either right? I recommend getting the sector nine wheels in probably a 60-70mm wheel and if you want wheels that will last you forever and give you great grip, I recommend the abec 11 gumballs (if you get these I also suggest you get risers just in case, gumballs run a little big and you REALLY don’t want to get wheelbite). The Scarab of course comes with plain stock bearings but if you really want to down the streets or power through those turns at the park I recommend Reds bearings and if you really want to go flying I recommend getting the Sector Nine ceramics.
