the sector 9 superfish review

The Sector 9 Superfish longboard is a great all around board wheter you’re taking to the streets to go to work or tearing up the park. the super fish comes with wheel cutouts to make you your wheels don’t go rubbing up against the board which trust me can leave some pretty nasty scratches and bruises. The superfish also has a short wheelbase for sharper turns. It also comes with non-slip griptape to make sure your feet stay in one place. The superfish also has lots of concave and a kicktail for ultimate control.

the recommendation for the super fish is gullwing mission 1′s and the good old standard sector 9 wheels  but depending on what you’re looking to do with it there are plenty more specialized pieces of equipment you can get for it. the superfish would go good with the sector 9 sidewinders if you’re looking to carve or the bombers or  if you’re looking to hit up the hills or race. You can also get the superfish with Sector 9 racing formula or slide formula wheels (the names pretty much tell you everything you need to know about them). now these wheels don’t do much if you don’t have the bearings to make them go, I suggest reds bearings because they’re the best bearings for the price, but if you really wanna tear it up like the pros i suggest the sector 9 ceramics.

the sector 9 Kommi review

The sector 9 Kommi longboard is a board designed mainly for racing, but I find it to be a great ride around and carving board too. The kommi is a fairly wide board and is also fairly long (9.o x 38.0) and comes with drop through flush mount to keep you closer to the ground to prevent speed wobble and make for some great slides due to the lower center of gravity the kommi comes in both a golden yellow and blood red.

It’s recommended that you get the sector 9 kommi with sector 9 wheels (70mm) and some gullwing bombers for bombing hills (or for those of you who are new to the term it’s going down hills). If you’re looking to carve up the parks then you’d want to get the sector 9 sidewinders they turn super sharp and super smooth and are great for carving and you’d probably want to stick with the same wheel. If you want to do some slides down hills then i suggest the same trucks but a harder durometer wheel around a 80 to 90a (the durometer of the wheel determines the hardness of the wheel the higher the number the harder and the lower the number the softer).
