Sector 9 Bamboo Pipeline Longboard

Find a freshly paved hill and rejoice! The Sector 9 Bamboo Pipeline Longboards are the newer version of the surf camp or uluwatu! Sector nine started making boards from 100% bamboo, an ideal raw material, Bamboo can regenerate itself by up to 4 feet a week. Incredibly strong and resilient, it had to be made into a skateboard. The Bamboo Pipeline is a fast, smooth riding board.

The deck features a “W” concave and mild camber to add to its strength while still allowing a nice amount of flex. With a “W” concave instead of the traditional “U” shape, the raised center almost acts like an arch support, adding comfort to the performance ability. Your foot feels very comfortable while riding, but also feels stable and in control of the board. . The Greaseball bearings will keep you rolling smoothly and quickly for a while since they are sealed to help keep dirt out. Made out of bamboo, this year’s model features graphics modeled after the hallowed grounds of the North Shore. Featuring the pencil art of Chad White, these boards also have Biothane wheels which are produced using part soybean oil copmonents instead of petrochemicals. This Sector 9 Longboard comes complete with Gullwing Charger Trucks and Sector 9 70MM/75A Wheels. Save a Tree and Ride a Weed! Its not just funny to say, its something you can actually do and it’s fun!

Sector 9 Mundaka Longboard

Great for bombing hills or making the commute to class, the Sector 9 Mundaka Longboard is a true super-cruiser. Check out the 7-ply maple construction. The Mundaka is a 7 ply maple deck that features concave and camber for added strength, flexibility and functional kicktail. Gullwing Alpine or Charger trucks are comparable to Randall R2 trucks, and the Sector 9 wheels and ABEC 5 bearings will make sure you stay rolling smooth and fast no matter what kind of bumpy pavement you hit. Don’t be fooled by cheaper longboards on other sites with lesser components. Great for all kinds of carving and cruising. The Sector 9 Mundaka Longboard is the perfect board for easy or high speed cruising.

Sector 9 Cosmic Weave Longboard

The Sector 9 Cosmic Weave Longboard is a popular campus cruiser for the college crowd, or anyone looking for a fun, surfy feeling board as part of Sector 9′s fun and flexy series of longboards. Constructed from 4 ply maple sandwiched between 2 plys of fiberglass, this creates a flexy and aggressive board for carving and cruising, similar to a snowboard feel. Fiberglass/ maple construction is pressed into a convex mold with a smooth barrel concave and a nice rolling kicktail. The deck is cambered and preloaded to your weight, providing a snappy ride which pumps hard out of turns. The added length and longer wheelbase makes the Sector 9 Cosmic Weave Longboard even flexier than the Cosmic Rider Great for all kinds of carving and cruising on the boardwalk or at school.

The cosmic weave sector 9 should be set up with some gullwing mission trucks if you are looking to cruise or some 150mm randal trucks if you want to be able to carve better. A nice 65mm wheel fits perfectly on this board with no worries of wheel bite and it is big enough to go fast and keep a smooth ride. I would put some nice abec 7 bearings on the sector 9 cosmic weave longboard like some sector 9 cosmic bearings.

Gullwing Sidewinder Trucks

The patented design of the Gullwing Sidewinder Trucks have been turning heads since they were first introduced. What makes these trucks so special is that they have two pivot points which allows the trucks to turn twice as sharp and fast as a standard truck. This double action pivot allows the rider to generate speed using their own turning momentum. The Gullwing Sidewinder trucks are a sidewalk surfers dream. Ask anyone that has ridden them and the truth will be told.

Sector 9 Hills Longboard

The new Sector 9 Hills Longboard is designed to handle speed, turn sharp, and let you have some serious fun while doing it. It is a great board for bombing hills as it is very sturdy. The Sector 9 Hills longboard is a deep concave and is 10″ wide which cradles your feet for ultimate response and stability at high speeds. The deck is made of an 8 ply maple for extra stiffness, ensuring that you don’t have too much flex when you are flying on this board. It has a deep concave for control, and it really locks your feet into position. Built for the skater with a little extra attitude, the Hills Not Countries board is pressed with 8 plies of maple in a taco mold for extra stiffness.

The board shape and mold are designed to be extra responsive to the rider’s commands. Also great for heavier riders and also excellent for general cruising and carving runs up the boardwalk. The Charger trucks that is set up with are an incredible match. They turn very well thanks to the kingpin set perpendicular to the hanger. The 70mm/75A wheels give great grip in a variety of conditions. You can even break them free to slide a little if you push hard into a turn. The Greaseball bearings will last and last while providing a smooth ride.

This is a high performance, hill bombing, stable and fast design from Sector 9. Great for higher speed carving and taking control of tougher steeper terrain. Bomb Hills, not countries!
