Loaded Dervish Design
Loaded has several different styles of longboards. The Dervish is probably one of the best they’ve made to this point in most peoples opinion. A lot of thought went into the Dervish. So check out a few specifications on the board:
Length – 41.5″
Width – 8.5″
Wheelbase – 33″
Weight – 7 pounds complete (2.75 lbs deck only)
Deck is a vert-lam bamboo core between epoxy and tri-axle fiberglass layers
Available in two flexes, to cover riders from 100 to 230 pounds
Deck works with a variety of trucks
The complete Loaded Dervish Longboard board generally has Gullwing Charger trucks, and abec 5 or higher bearings and with Abec 11 or Orangatang wheels. However, if you buy your Dervish from the Boards on Nord website, you can tweak and change options to fit you need for just a little extra cost.
More about the Loaded Dervish Deck design. It’s a bamboo board, and built with a strong convex to it, which really lets you put your weight into the board. The trucks are drop through mounted, but they’ve designed it so that you can attach a wide variety of trucks to this deck.

Introduction:
The Loaded Dervish is a bamboo longboard designed to get you the most dynamic, all-around action possible. With the Dervish Deck’s flex and low center of gravity, combined with a clever truck mounting design, you can really dig in and bend this board to whatever it is you want to do. Bowls to hill bombing, and even tricks, the Loaded Dervish really does it all.

This years line-up of Sector 9 Bamboo Longboards are all following a trend in the graphic. The bamboo boards all have graphics inspired by the North Shore of Oahu.
With an eye towards the environment and a patented laminating process, we started making decks from 100% bamboo. An ideal raw material, bamboo can regenerate itself by up to 4 ft per week. Incredibly strong and resilient, it had to be made into a skateboard.

For the riders that like to carve and rip it up harder and more aggressive then the other riders the boards in this series are what you are looking for. The double pivot sidewinder trucks allow you to turn sharper then you though possible. Just make sure to add the correct wheels to these trucks as they require a wider wheel that creates more friction when turning.
Currently there are 4 Boards that make up the sidewinder series; The Off The Wall 2, The Dawn Patrol, The Sand Wedge, and The Bamboo Haleiwa. That’s right a bamboo slash sidewinder series board.
