Sector 9 Sand wedge longboard

The sector 9 Sand wedge Complete longboards is one of the best boards (if not the best) for cruising and carving, as far as sector 9 goes. This board is the board that changed carving for sector 9 and is why I recommend sidewinders on almost any other cruiser/carver. The sand wedge also has a really long base for long smooth turns, perfect for carving, cruising, etc. I recommend the Sand wedge to anyone looking for a truly amazing cruiser/ carver.

The Sector nine sandwedge goes perfect with san clemente trucks and wheels however there are many choices that will definitely make your experience with the sand wedge better. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9’s or even abec11’s (if you have the money of course). For trucks I recommend getting sidewinders they’re the only way to go with this board. The Sand Wedge also comes with abec 5 bearings that would be much better replaced with some bones reds or if you have the money some sector 9 ceramics.

Sector 9 Lombok longboard review

The sector 9 Lombok complete longboards is the ultimate cruiser and carver, however I think it’s a might to snappy, and flexible to doing downhill and there a much better boards the fulfill that role. The Lombok has a cambered mold for the highest endurance of almost any board on the market, as well as having a mild concave and small but useful kicktail. I recommend the Lombok to anyone who wants to get around town with no worry of rocks, or being uncomfortable, this board if put together with the right things should almost literally push itself.

The Sector nine Lombok goes perfect with san clemente trucks and wheels however there are many other suitable choices to enhance this beastly cruiser. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9’s or orangatangs (if you have the money of course). For trucks I recommend getting sidewinders they’re the only real choice for this board in my opinion. The Lombok also comes with abec 5 bearings that would be much better replaced with some bones reds or if you have the money some sector 9 ceramics.

Sector 9 sunset bamboo longboard

The Sector 9 sunset bamboo complete longboards is great for downhill, carving, cruising, construction, baking, cleaning…well you get what I mean. The sunset bamboo longboard comes with a unique set up  it has a drop through flush mount and has a cool wheel cutout that’s there for more than just looks, although you can’t stand on top of the trucks (because of wheelbite from your shoe), it not only keeps the wheels from grinding against your board but also the way they set it up gives the world the longest wheelbase any board can offer, which makes for the smoothest turns any board can offer. On another note the sunset is also made of bamboo which gives cutting down trees a break, and although bamboo is a weed it’s just as sturdy and more flexible than wood.

The Sector 9 sunset goes perfect with san clemente trucks and wheels however there are many other suitable choices that will make  the sunset a much better ride. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9’s or even orangatangs (if you have the money of course). For trucks I recommend getting sidewinders if you’re going to be carving/crusing, or bombers/chargers if you’re going to be doing downhill. The sunset also comes with abec 5 bearings, although abec 5’s go just fine with this board you’d be much better off with reds or any ceramics.

Sector 9 Joel Tudor Longboard review

The Sector 9 Joel Tudor longboards is perfect for getting around town, and mild downhill riding. It’s made with a subtle concave and kicktail with a super stiff overall physique, making it  comfortable for cruising around but not necessarily park  riding. The Joel Tudor also has a fairly wide wheelbase making for long smooth turns. I recommend the Joel Tudor to anyone looking for an amazing well rounded cruiser.

The Joel Tudor as well as just about any sector 9 board can suffice with the simple san clemente trucks, and wheels as well as abec 5 bearings. But if you really want to rip through the streets like a pro, and leave a trail leaving people wondering why there’s cracks and indentations in the concrete, you’ll need some better equipment. For trucks I recommend sidewinders, especially if you’re going to be using this for cruising and carving. For wheels, sector 9’s and orangatangs are great, as well as abec 11’s and zig-zags. As for bearings Reds can do just fine but I really suggest getting some ceramics of some sort if you can afford them.

Sector 9 Carbon TR3 longboard review

The  Sector 9 Carbon TR3 longboards is perfect for tearing down hills, cruising through town, or ripping parks apart. The coolest thing about the Carbon TR3 longboard is it’s made of both fiberglass AND carbon fiber, as well as maple. The TR3 has an amazing flex and is EXTREMELY durable. I recommend the TR3 to anyone looking for an amazing all around board.

The TR3 can go with pretty much anything, however i suggest getting some of our premium equipment to upgrade it. Instead of san clemente trucks, wheels, and abec 5 bearings I would suggest, for wheels, some sector 9’s, orangatangs, or even abec 11’s. Fo trucks depending if you’re cruising and riding at the park, gullwing sidewinder, but if you wanna tear down hills, chargers or bombers. As far as bearings go you can suffice with some bones reds but if you really want some bang for your buck I suggest ceramics.

Arbor assault GT longboard complete review

The assault GT arbor longboards is perfect for tearing up hills, slashing ditches, and for just simple cruising around town. The Arbor GT also has a drop through flush mount which makes for easier sliding, and easier. Another great thing about the Arbor GT is the fact hat it’s so stable going at high speeds,  with the drop through mount and high nose/tail. I recommend the GT for anyone looking for a hardcore downhill board, or a board that’s gonna slash through the streets like butter.

The Arbor GT goes great with the stock san clemente wheels and trucks however I recommend getting some chargers or bombers for  this board, which will make it 3 times as stable. As for Wheels I recommend getting some sector 9’s orangatangs, or even abec 11’s. Also you need a good set of bearings, for bearings I suggest getting some reds or if y ou have the money some sector 9 ceramics.

Arbor Koa Wood Pintail Longboard

The Koa wood pintail Arbor longboards is perfect for getting around town, or carving up the parks. one of the cool things about the koa wood is that it’s a lot more flexible than maple (the common wood used in longboards) so arbor makes the top layer out of koa which is not only super flexible and durable but is also gives the board a cool texture. The Arbor Koa also has an oversized wheelbase, which is perfect for downhill, and the smoothest longest turns you will ever experience.

The Arbor Koa goes perfect with the san clemente trucks and wheels, as well as the normal abec 5 bearings. The Arbor Koa however goes perfect with gullwing chargers, bombers for trucks, orangutangs and sector 9’s for wheels. Also for bearings Sector 9 ceramic bearings as well as reds are perfect for any situation. I recommend the Arbor koa wood to anyone looking for a versatile cruiser.

Sector 9 carbonite longboard review

The Carbonite sector 9 longboards is the ultimate racing/downhill board, if you’re looking for speed, look no further. The sector 9 Carbonite longboard has a drop through flush mount truck which gives a lower center of gravity for added speed and stability when going down hills. The Sector 9 carbonite longboard is also excellent for getting around town even if the road is too terrible for a car to go on (you won’t be getting flat tires).

The sector 9 Carbonite goes perfectly with the  san clemente trucks and wheels that it comes with. However, if you wanna tear down hills like the pros you’re going to want a better setup.  I recommend getting Gullwing bombers or chargers for this board because they;re both perfect for maintaining stability at high speeds. For Wheels, I recommend getting abec 11’s or orangutangs  however if you’re low on a cash keeping the san clemente wheels is fine, or even getting a set of sector 9 wheels would be perfect for this board. Also, for bearing instead of the abec 5’s that it comes with I recommend getting some sector 9 ceramics or bones reds.

Sector 9 Mo’sake longboard review

The Mo’sake sector 9 longboards is an amazing board for getting around town, bombing hills, and slalom because if it’s taco mold. The Mo’sake is also great for the parks for those who like to tear up the parks but with the correct wheels the Mo’sake can take on just about any environment, except complete off-road. I recommend the Mo’sake to anyone looking for a great all around board that can adapt to almost any type of riding you want to do.

The Mo’sake comes with san clemente trucks and wheels as well as some abec 5 bearings. For trucks, if you’re going to do downhill I recommend bombers or chargers, but if you plan on carving and cruising, go for the gullwing sidewinders. For wheels I recommend getting orangutangs, gumballs, sector 9’s, arbors, any wheel will do just fine but the best wheels out right now are the orangutangs and gumballs. As far as bearings go, Reds are still the best for the price, but if you want a truly superior bearing get some sector 9 ceramics.

Sector 9 Longboard - Reflections

Assembled with sidewinders these trucks are so unique and fun that we had to design a series of boards around them. A double stacked kingpin with 2 pivot ponts per truck basically allow for a truck with “Yogi-like” flexibility. Many that ride them won’t ride anything else after.

The reflections is the only fiberglass sandwhich board in the series. With trucks allowing you to pump for speed instead of pushing, the fiberglass camber/combo amplify’s the tight turns with spring loaded action.

The reflections graphic features a beautiful Sunrise barrel shot from Clark Little.
