Sector 9 Bullet longboard review
The Sector 9 bullet from sector 9 longboards is perfect for cruising around town, or shredding downhills, this is in my opinion one of the best downhill boards on the market. The Sector 9 bullet is amazing for downhill due to its flush mount truck which gives it a lower center of gravity and more stability at higher speeds. The bullet also has a really long wheelbase which gives it higher stability at high speeds and also makes for extremely smooth turns. I recommend the bullet to anyone looking for an amazing downhill board.
The sector 9 Bullet goes perfectly with the san clemente trucks and wheels that it comes with. However, if you wanna tear down hills like the pros you’re going to want a better setup. I recommend getting gullwing bombers or chargers for this board because they’re both perfect for maintaining stability at high speeds. For Wheels, I recommend getting abec 11′s or orangutangs however if you’re low on a cash keeping the san clemente wheels is fine, or even getting a set of sector 9 wheels would be perfect for this board. Also, for bearing instead of the abec 5′s that it comes with I recommend getting some sector 9 ceramics or bones reds.
Arbor Koa Blunt Longboard
The Arbor Koa blunt longboard is a perfect all-around board it can cruise, do hills, and tear up the parks like no tomorrow. One great thing about the arbor koa blunt is that it’s extremely easy to ride because it’s so wide and is perfect for people who like do to longboard tricks such as manuals and board walking because of the kicktail/nose. Another reason the arbor koa is so great is because of the long wheelbase which makes for really wide smooth turns, much like surfing. I recommend the arbor koa blunt to anyone looking for an awesome arbor longboard.
The blunt comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I recommend getting some of our premium trucks and wheels. I recommend getting some sidewinders if you plan on carving and cruising but if you plan on doing downhill at all I suggest getting some chargers/bombers. Also You’ll need a good set of bearings if you plan on doing bigger hills or want to get around faster the abec 5 bearings it comes with will suffice but I would suggest bones reds bearings because they’re the best for the price, or I would suggest sector nine ceramics if you really want to fly across the concrete if you can afford them.
Sector 9 Burleigh bamboo longboard
The sector9 Burleigh bamboo longboard is perfect for cruising around town, downhill, and mild carving in parks. The Burleigh has the flush mount truck system which gives it a lower center of gravity perfect for downhill boarding due to it’s higher stability. The Burleigh is also cut out in a way that highly reduces wheelbite the only reason you should ever have wheelbite on the burleigh is if your foot is over the trucks. I recommend the Burleigh to anyone looking for an amazing bamboo longboard skateboard, whether you’re a pro or a beginner.
The Burleigh is an awesome board and rides just fine with the san clemente trucks and wheels however, with some premium trucks and wheels this board can really excel in just about anything. For trucks I recommend getting sidewinders if you want to carve and cruise and chargers/bombers if you want to do downhill and cruise (if you plan on doing a bit of everything I suggest chargers). For wheels I recommend sector 9′s and orangatangs in roughly a 70-77mm. For bearings the abec 5′s that is comes with are alright at first but if you want to go tearing down hills, through parks, or weave through streets I recommend getting either reds or sector 9 ceramics if you have the money to spare.
Sector 9 Tree Barrel sidewinder Longboard
The sector 9 Tree Barrel sidewinder longboard is the perfect board for just cruising around town or taking to the parks. Although the tree barrel comes with the new flush mount trucks that are amazing for downhill, this board was meant more for parks and cruising, the lower center of gravity really helps this board pick up speed for a smoother experience on the road and if equipped with some sidewinders this board is perfect for weaving through traffic. I recommend the tree barrel to anyone looking for an awesome cruiser or anyone who just wants to have a board to show off at the park. I recommend the tree barrel to anyone looking for an awesome longboard skateboard for cruising and park riding.
The Tree barrel comes with some premium trucks (sidewinders) and wheels. For trucks I recommend none other than the gullwing sidewinders they’re absolutely perfect for this board, if you’re looking to downhill with it (although I don’t personally recommend it you can use it for downhill) I recommend getting chargers. For wheels sectors 9′s, or orangatangs are the best best whilst looking in a 70-75mm range these are the generic sizes for cruising and park riding. For bearings the tree barrel comes with abec 5′s but I really recommend getting some reds or even some sector 9 ceramics if you can afford them.
sector 9 Carbon Decay Longboard
The Sector 9 Carbon Decay Longboard is perfect for cruising around town of bombing hills. The Carbon Decay has an an awesome flush mount system which makes for much faster rides downhill without much worry of losing stability due to the lower center of gravity. The Carbon decay is also cut in such a way that you should never get wheelbite unless you keep your trucks ridiculously loose and keep your foot so far back they scrape the wheels. I recommend the Decay to anyone looking for some longboard skateboards, whether you’re a pro or a beginner this board has a lot to offer although I don’t really recommend it for park skating.
The Sector 9 Carbon Decay Longboard goes perfect with san clemente truck and wheels but I feel that this board has a lot more potential if you pick up some of our premium trucks and wheels. For trucks I really recommend some chargers or bombers these trucks will offer the greatest stability when going down those massive hills. For wheels I really suggest orangatang or sector 9 wheels in roughly a 70-80mm anything smaller won’t give you as much stability and anything bigger will most likely make the sides of the wheels rub against the board if turning too hard, and trust me, you don’t want that. The Decay also comes with abec 5 bearings but I recommend getting reds over these they’re only 104 more and they truly are the best bearings on the market for the price, either that or if you have the extra money to pitch in grab some sector9 ceramics.
Sector nine 9 star longboard
The Sector nine 9 star longboard is perfect for anyone looking for an amazing downhill board whether you’re a pro or a beginner. The Sector nine 9 star is also great for just cruising around town or racing down huge hills at 45 M.P.H. Another awesome thing about the 9 star is the flush mount truck which give a lower center of gravity which makes for a lot more stability and a lot more speed due to less wind resistance. I recommend the 9 star to anyone looking for an amazing downhill board or anyone looking for cheap longboards.
The Sector nine 9 star goes perfect with san clemente trucks and wheels however there are many other suitable choices that will definitely make your experience with the 9 star better. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9′s or even orangatangs (if you have the money of course). For trucks I recommend getting sidewinders if you’re going to be carving/cruising, or bombers/chargers if you’re going to be doing downhill. The 9 star also comes with abec 5 bearings that would be much better replaced with some bones reds or if you have the money some sector 9 ceramics.
sector 9 Joel Tudor complete longboard
The Sector 9 Joel Tudor longboard is perfect for cruising around town to shredding up parks whether you’re a beginner or an advanced rider looking for a new board. Another really cool thing about the Joel Tudor is that it has wheel cutouts to reduce wheelbite which makes it really nice when you’re taking hard turns or when carving through bowls. The Joel Tudor also has a pretty big wheelbase making for some real surf-like turns. I recommend the Joel Tudor to absolutely anyone looking for cheap longboards.
The Joel Tudor will suffice with the san clemente trucks, and wheels as well as abec 5 bearings. But if you really want to rip through the streets like a pro, and leave people wondering why there’s cracks and rubber left in the concrete, you’ll need some better equipment. For trucks I recommend sidewinders, especially if you’re going to be using this for cruising and carving. For wheels, sector 9′s and orangatangs are great, as well as abec 11′s and zig-zags. As for bearings Reds can do just fine but I really suggest getting some sector 9 ceramics if you can afford them.
Sector 9 Mo’Sake Longboard review
The Sector 9 Mo’Sake longboard is an excellent all-around board whether you’re doing downhill, slalom, parks, or just plain cruising this board does it all! The Mo’Sake has a really long wheelbase which makes for more stability doing downhill as well as giving the board longer smoother turns. I recommend the Mo’Sake to any beginning to advanced riders.
The sector 9 Mo’Sake comes with san clemente trucks and wheels which are perfect if you’re just beginning but I highly recommend customizing your board with some of our premium trucks and wheels. For trucks i recommend buying chargers or bombers if you’re going to be sliding but if you’re not then definitely get the sidewinders. For wheels I recommend getting any sector 9 or Orangutang wheel in a 70mm or higher . As for bearing the board comes with abec 5′s but these can wear out fast going at high speeds, so I recommend buying some sector 9 ceramics or reds which are only 10$ extra but make a load of difference.
layback roper 41″ longboard review
The layback roper 41″ cheap longboard is perfect for people who enjoy going out and cruising on the streets, hitting the bike trails, ripping through the parks or even some mild downhill. the roper also has a really wide wheelbase which makes it perfect for long smooth buttery turns and those long rides from one end of town to another because it takes the harsh vibration and moves it over the entire of board instead of focusing it in one spot. I recommend the roper to anyone looking for a great all around board it’s especially good for beginners because it gives you a bunch of options.
The roper comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend buying some of our premium trucks and wheels. for trucks I recommend getting some independents or chargers. For wheels I recommend sector 9′s, abec 11′s or orangutangs or any wheel in a 60mm or higher for that matter. The roper also comes with abec 5 bearings but I highly recommend getting some reds, they’re only 10$ more and they’re the best you can get for the price unless of course you really want to rip through the streets then i suggest getting some ceramics of any kind however i personally recommend the sector 9 ceramics.
Layback Classic 36″ longboard review
The Layback Classic 36″ longboards is perfect for cruising around town, slashing ditches, and carving at the park, it’s wheelbase is a might short for anything other than that though. Another thing I really like about the Layback is it’s size, you can store it just about anywhere. The layback also has a super short wheelbase which makes it great for really tight turning and excellent response.
The layback comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I highly recommend buying some of our premium trucks and wheels. for trucks I recommend getting some independents or chargers. For wheels I recommend sector 9′s, abec 11′s or orangutangs or any wheel in a 60mm or higher for that matter. The layback also comes with abec 5 bearings but I highly recommend getting some reds, they’re only 10$ more and they’re the best you can get for the price.
