Loaded vanguard longboard review
The loaded Vanguard longboard is an excellent board for both cruising and downhill in fact loaded is one of the leading downhill boards on the market at the moment. The Loaded Vanguard has a very long wheelbase which is perfect for downhill due to higher stability. The loaded vanguard also has a flush mount truck system which gives you a lower center of gravity for more speed as well as more stability for going down those big hills. I recommend the loaded dervish to anyone looking for an excellent downhill longboard.
The loaded vanguard is perfect with san clemente trucks and wheels however you will never meet the superior quality of a loaded board without some quality accessories. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9′s or orangatangs (if you have the money of course) or even abec 11′s (these are my favorite of the bunch). as far as trucks go I suggest getting chargers or bombers these are the absolute best for this board as they have the most stability and are most suited for downhill out of the bunch. The vanguard also comes with abec 5 bearings that would be much better replaced with some bones reds or if you have the money some sector 9 ceramics.
Gold Coast Seaweed Floater
The Seaweed Floater from Gold Coast longboards is an excellent board for cruising around or ripping through parks. The floater is great for these due to it’s long wheelbase which makes for long smooth turns which gives it an extremely surfy feel. Last but not least the floater is cut in such a way that it most likely won’t get wheelbite which is nice when you’re taking really hard turns. I recommend the floater to anyone looking for an awesome longboard.
The Floater comes with san clemente trucks and wheels, these are perfect if you’re just beginning but once you get better or if you’re already really good I suggest buying some of our premium trucks and wheels. For trucks I recommend getting sidewinders on this board as it gives it more responsiveness and will really bring out it’s surfy feel. For wheels I recommend getting sector 9′s, or orangatangs. The floater also comes with abec 5 bearings but I really suggest buying some reds or sector 9 ceramics if you have the money.
Gold Coast Heavy Pile longboard
The gold coast heavy pile is another great cruiser from gold coast longboards and can do some carving too but I only recommend this board for carving if you’re a beginner-intermediate rider. Gold coast implemented a really cool idea on this board and it’s the Carpet grip tape, I imagine they made it this way so that you can ride it barefoot comfortably, and even if they didn’t make it for that purpose, I’ve given this board a ride and it is indeed comfortable barefoot. The Heavy pile also has a dencently short wheelbase for its size which will make for sharper, quicker turns but with the size and weight of the board it’s still a really fluid, easy-to-ride-board. I recommend the heavy pile to anyone looking for a little spice to their longboard collection or someone who just wants a really comfortable cruiser.
The heavy pile comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but if you plan on cruising further than work/ to the store and back everyday then I recommend getting some of our premium trucks and wheels. For trucks I recommend getting some sidewinders, these trucks really complement cruisers because they make it much easier to turn as well as more responsive so you don’t have to turn as hard. For wheels I recommend getting some sector 9′s or orangatangs in about a 70-75mm. This board also comes with abec 5 bearings but if you want the best product for the price I reacommend getting a hold of some reds or sector 9 ceramics if you have the money.
Gold coast The Boozal Nomad Bamboo longboard
The Boozal Nomad from Gold Coast longboards is an amazing board for cruising around. One of the Boozal’s perks is that it’s made out of bamboo so not only is it great for the environment because bamboo are considered weeds but bamboo is extremely durable and light compared to maple, koa, etc. The Boozal also has a small wheelbase which means easier weaving through traffic and quick, short turns which really helps when taking short corners on the sidewalk, or even dodging people on the sidewalks/bike trails. The Boozal is a great cruiser and I recommend it to anyone looking for a cruiser.
The Boozal comes with san clemente trucks and wheel but I really recommend getting some of our premium trucks and wheels. For trucks I recommend getting sidewinders for this board the quadruple bushing system in sidewinders are just too good to pass up for this board. For wheels I recommend getting sector 9 wheels or orangatangs in about a 70-75mm. For bearings the Boozal comes with abec 5′s but I really recommend getting some reds or sector 9 ceramics if you have the money.
Landyachtz Spud Review
The Landyachtz spud longboard is an extremely great board for downhill and cruising and can also be used for carving to extent but I don’t recommend it. The Spud has a very long wheelbase and very low center of gravity making for high speed, and stability. The spuds flush mount trucks are what give it’s low center of gravity, added stability, and you can’t argue with how awesome it looks. The spud is also cut in such a way that it’s gives a lower center of gravity as well due to it pushing the trucks further out and keeping the board lower to the ground.
The landyachtz spud is perfect with randal trucks and wheels however this board can’t reach it’s full potential without getting some premium equipment. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9′s or abec 11′s (if you have the money of course) or even abec 11′s. For trucks I suggest getting gullwing chargers, or bombers really any truck except sidewinders. The spud also comes with abec 5 bearings however some bones reds would be much better in their place or if you have the money some sector 9 or bones swiss ceramics.
Landyachtz the switch longboard
The landyachtz switch longboards is the perfect board for downhill and cruising although I seriously don’t recommend it far outside that at least for SERIOUS carving and cruising. The switch has an amazingly low center of gravity like all landyachtz longboards which makes for lightning fast speeds down hill as well as giving you the stability to do so. The switch also has a really long wheelbase which makes the board twice as stable as well as making it less responsive to turning (to an extent) just enough that moving your feet around a little won’t throw you off while going downhill.
The landyachtz switch is perfect with san clemente trucks and wheels however this board can’t reach it’s full potential without getting some premium equipment. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9′s or abec 11′s (if you have the money of course) or even orangatangs. For trucks I suggest getting gullwing chargers, or bombers. The switch also comes with abec 5 bearings that would be much better replaced with some bones reds or if you have the money get some sector 9 ceramics.
Landyachtz Evo longboard review
The Landyachtz evo longboard is a great board for just curising around town but really excels in downhill boarding. This board has such an amazingly low center of gravity from how the trucks are mounted and it’s because of this it’s so great for downhill, more speed, and higher stability? YES PLEASE. The Evo also has a very long wheelbase which is also desirable in downhill boarding due to a better stability and smoother turns so if you’re going 45 M.P.H. the board shouldn’t whip out from under you. I recommend the Evo to anyone looking for a downhill board whether you’re a beginner or a pro.
The landyachtz evo is perfect with san clemente trucks and wheels however this board will only be a mere glimpse of what it could be without the right equipment. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9′s or orangatangs. For trucks I suggest getting gullwing chargers, or bombers because this is mainly a downhill board however I really don’t recommend this board outside of downhill and cruising. The evo also comes with abec 5 bearings that would be much better replaced with some bones reds or if you have the money some sector 9 or bones swiss ceramics.
Sector 9 OG cloud review
The OG cloud from sector 9 longboards is perfect for cruising around town and carving the bowls and trannies at the park. The cloud has a really wide wheelbase making for extremely long and smooth turns you could only otherwise get while surfing. The cloud has wheel cutouts that help prevent wheelbite from happening which can really get you hurt if you’re going fast enough + this helps keeps your wheels from flat-spotting against the board. I recommend the OG cloud to anyone looking for an awesome carver/cruiser.
The Sector nine OG cloud goes perfect with san clemente trucks and wheels however there are many other suitable choices to enhance this beastly cruiser. For wheels I definitely recommend sector 9′s or orangatangs (if you have the money of course). For trucks I recommend getting sidewinders they’re the only real choice for this board in my opinion. The cloud also comes with abec 5 bearings that would be much better replaced with some bones reds or if you have the money some sector 9 ceramics.
Sector 9 Bullet longboard review
The Sector 9 bullet from sector 9 longboards is perfect for cruising around town, or shredding downhills, this is in my opinion one of the best downhill boards on the market. The Sector 9 bullet is amazing for downhill due to its flush mount truck which gives it a lower center of gravity and more stability at higher speeds. The bullet also has a really long wheelbase which gives it higher stability at high speeds and also makes for extremely smooth turns. I recommend the bullet to anyone looking for an amazing downhill board.
The sector 9 Bullet goes perfectly with the san clemente trucks and wheels that it comes with. However, if you wanna tear down hills like the pros you’re going to want a better setup. I recommend getting gullwing bombers or chargers for this board because they’re both perfect for maintaining stability at high speeds. For Wheels, I recommend getting abec 11′s or orangutangs however if you’re low on a cash keeping the san clemente wheels is fine, or even getting a set of sector 9 wheels would be perfect for this board. Also, for bearing instead of the abec 5′s that it comes with I recommend getting some sector 9 ceramics or bones reds.
Arbor Koa Blunt Longboard
The Arbor Koa blunt longboard is a perfect all-around board it can cruise, do hills, and tear up the parks like no tomorrow. One great thing about the arbor koa blunt is that it’s extremely easy to ride because it’s so wide and is perfect for people who like do to longboard tricks such as manuals and board walking because of the kicktail/nose. Another reason the arbor koa is so great is because of the long wheelbase which makes for really wide smooth turns, much like surfing. I recommend the arbor koa blunt to anyone looking for an awesome arbor longboard.
The blunt comes with san clemente trucks and wheels but I recommend getting some of our premium trucks and wheels. I recommend getting some sidewinders if you plan on carving and cruising but if you plan on doing downhill at all I suggest getting some chargers/bombers. Also You’ll need a good set of bearings if you plan on doing bigger hills or want to get around faster the abec 5 bearings it comes with will suffice but I would suggest bones reds bearings because they’re the best for the price, or I would suggest sector nine ceramics if you really want to fly across the concrete if you can afford them.
